Conceptual section. Cavity geometry, filling method and retention are application-specific.

Filling complex geometry

Fill complex retained spaces with a pourable format.

Siltherm Granulate flows into enclosed cavities that are difficult to reach with cut insulation. The cavity retains the fill in service.

Access the full cavity

Confirm a continuous fill path around internal features and narrow transitions.

Choose the filling method

Pour or automatically feed the granulate; low-frequency vibration may assist placement.

Retain it in service

Contain the fill under the expected vibration, access and maintenance conditions.

Typical applications

Applications built around enclosed volume.

Granulate works best where the cavity can be filled cleanly and retain the material throughout service.

01

Chimney systems

Thin-wall chimney systems, pipe-in-pipe protection and radiation shielding near roof penetrations.

Application support available
02

Fuel-cell and renewable-energy stacks

Retained spaces around stack geometry where shaped rigid insulation is difficult to apply.

Application support available
03

Enclosed equipment voids

Cavities with limited access or geometry unsuitable for conventional rigid formats.

Technical documentation

Product data for design and specification.

Thermal values are reported with their test method and mean temperature. Filling density and cavity containment can be coordinated with the application.
