Customised engineering solutions
Siltherm turns microporous insulation into components shaped for the equipment and ready for repeatable installation.

What can be configured
A custom solution may be one shaped part or a complete kit prepared around the installation.
Match the microporous core to the operating temperature, thermal target and available insulation space.
Choose the Siltherm format that follows the equipment, from flat machined parts to curved flexible components.
Select an envelope or surface finish for the required handling, interface and installation conditions.
Prepare parts around an agreed drawing, tolerance and installation sequence for repeatable on-site assembly.
How a project moves forward
The project moves from a simple application brief to an agreed component. Proprietary detail is not needed in the first conversation.
Start with a non-confidential briefStart with a non-confidential description of the equipment and the space available for insulation.
Siltherm proposes a practical component architecture and identifies the information needed to develop it further.
Geometry, tolerances, interfaces and installation details are reviewed before the construction is released.
Components or kits are produced in the agreed configuration for clear identification and repeatable installation.
Representative solution routes
Begin with the format closest to the equipment geometry. Siltherm then refines the material, finish and component layout for the application.

Machined boards and rigid sets for repeatable profiles in compact equipment.

Flexible and preformed formats that follow vessels, pipework and changing radii.

Pourable fill, thin barriers and vacuum-panel routes for inaccessible voids or very limited insulation space.
Technical basis
Siltherm CS combines a Grade 1000 microporous core with a glass-cloth envelope in custom sizes and shapes. Rigid and flexible formats can be integrated where the equipment needs more than one construction.
